Gemstones Jewelry Project: Necklace: Once In a Blue Moon

Recently I have received a request on crafting a necklace with some simple design with gemstone. And as usual, before I started, I ask further question on the preferences, likeness, colors, shapes, for what occasion and etc..

With all that, I can craft something that not just matching the outlook of the person but also jewelries that suit their character and personality.

'Once in a Blue Moon' is crafted for someone who likes simple things and yet with a little bit of details that can be wear during day as well as night. I have chosen Moonstone here as it has been a very interesting gemstones that has a natural light neon blue  reflection on the surface but it is actually a transparent stone.

The neon blue reflection of the stone have inspires me to name this project as 'Once in a Blue Moon'. Hm.... Simple yet mystic... How could our mother earth form stone so beautiful as this?

To craft the pendant, I have made a cage to secure the stone and have used remaining wires to wrap around it and crafting the bail. As for the chain, I have hand crafted figure of 8 chain links with a handcrafted clasp too. And of course, all with the magic ingredients: Argentium Silver.
