Due to the Bazaar that I was attending a few days ago, it drives me to keep all jewelries organize and neat that I have to use all creativity I have to create a jewelry display which is within the budget I have.
You will need:
1. A wooden tray ( you can always replace with other material that are suitable)
2. Some cork board.
3. Head Pin
4. Hot Glue/ Craft Glue
5. Ribbon 3mm with your choice of color
6. Double Sided Tape
7. Cutter
8. Ruler
Step 2: Measure and mark the width of 20mm
Step 3: Draw the cutting lines.
Step 4: Cut it into 20mm width strips.
Step 5: Prepare a wooden tray or any tray you can find at home as long as they have all surfaces that can be standing on any sides.
Step 6: Paste the 20 mm width strip along one side of the edge, you can decide here where you want to paste them, I am making it for my bracelets therefore I am pasting them side way that I do not need a long length for necklace for hanging.
Option 1: You can paste it with double sided tape too to avoid messy adhesive. (make sure you get a good double sided tape though, otherwise the display may fell apart)
Option 2: Use both tape and glue. Apply tape first then glue as cork board tends to absorb the moisture of glue and makes them less sticky. The layer of tape can prevent this from happening.
Step 6: Cut some 20mm X 20mm cubes from cork board to be use later.
Step 7: You should be completing it now as seen below, doesn't matter if you have a bigger or smaller piece of cork board, you can always cut extra to fill up the empty space just like what I did.
If you can find bigger ones, that be great!
Step 8: Mesure the width of your tray and cut similar length of ribbon to be use later. ( This is to add some decorative and artistic elements to the overall look really. :))
Step 9: I am using double sided tape here to paste the ribbon on the cork board which is in the tray.
Step 10: This is how they look like, I have paste 2 strips of ribbons along it.
Step 11: Prepare the cubes by applying double sided tape on them.
Step 12: Paste it on top of the first layer of cork board as shown.
Step 13: Arrange them the way you like it, the gaps between can be larger or smaller. Really, it is up to you. :)
Step 14: This is the final part, I bought this board head pin from 'Daiso', using the transparent one here.. well, this is my choice of color, you can choose yours color. :) I love options..
Step 15: Pin them through the 2 layers of cork board, this step actually help to secure the boards too.
There you go, it is completed! If you are using double sided tape, it can be use immediately. If you are using both glue and tape or just glue, allow few hours to dry before you use it.
View from the top.
This is how it looks like and they are stable enough to hold all bracelets throughout the Bazaar. If you are taking this to Bazaar too, please test it first before you go. You really don't want your jewelries fell apart.
Improvise upon this idea and share with me here what you have. Til then, see you soon.
