Our First Bazaar @ Solaris Dutamas

Last month, Heavenly Gems finally strike its ever 1st Bazaar at Solaris Dutamas. It has taken me and partners sleepness night to prepare for it. Our fingers end up with lot of hard dead skin.. ouch.. as all our items are handmade and hand crafted items.

We were required to be there by 8:30am to decorate our booth.which means we have to get up by 6:30 am to get ready. ( I am not really a morning person XD)

This is how our booth looks like after setting it up! Yes, I know, we do not have lot of jewelry display components yet. We are working on it really for the next round of Bazaar. Keeping our finger cross to be shortlisted again.

The jewelry display component on the right lower corner for our earrings are actually a flower pot holder. Topping it up with white velvet cloth makes it looks much more presentable. Flower pot bought from Ikea and signage above was printed out from canon printer. :D

The earrngs racks too are actually our handmade items made by my other partner- Adeline. She cleverly attached the steel netting to photo frames which she sprayed painted in white and linked up the frames with tapes. Bravo for our creativity really.. LOL....

Not just that, we further improvised on our display of the day by buying this disposable plate made by palm leaf from other vendor at the Bazaar, that we can makes the display more interesting. Looking good though.. well, at least that is what I think..

Instead of staying at our own booth all the time, I actually steal some time to sneak around too look at some interesting items from our neighbor vendors, we love handmade items as you should probably know by now.
This are her handmade little owl mobile phone accessories. They are extremely cute sitting on the branch.

Another interesting booth that caught my eye is Backward Concept's cactus. I would say what catches me most are the ways that it been displayed, so artistic. Find them here, you will love it.

All the photos here are captured on my Panosonic LX5 camera, feel free to use them, just don't forget to mention us. :)

See you here soon again.
